Simon Welland
Small Business Associate ACA
Simon joined Wheelers in 2006 as a trainee and gained his chartered accountancy and audit qualifications with the firm. He became a corporate manager in 2017 and was promoted to Small Business Associate in May 2020.
Simon, who runs our Corporate Department, works closely with a variety of corporate and owner managed businesses providing valuable advice in all things accounting and business.
As well as a managing a portfolio of clients he also oversees client training on the many accounting software packages. Simon has worked tirelessly to help many of our clients move from paper and pen bookkeeping onto computerised packages, in readiness for the Making Tax Digital (MTD) scheme.
Simon is married to Steph, our Tax Associate – and in fact they are just one of a few married couples who work together here at Wheelers.
