On Friday 6th October 2023, Wheelers staff gathered together at “Samuels” to celebrate Becky Goldspink and Wendy Warner on achieving 25 years of service.

Becky, a key member of our Tax Department, has become instrumental in managing her own client Returns with much dedication and efficiency.

Wendy who you may know of from our Accounts Department, has a meticulous nature that has resulted in a professionalism and desire to “get it right”, that goes to the core of what we aim to achieve here at Wheelers.

At the party co-partner Robert Booty said during his speech “The dedication and loyalty that both Becky and Wendy have shown to Wheelers over the years is unquestionable, and greatly appreciated by not only Helen and I, but also the other partners they have worked with over the years, including in reverse order, Mary Plant, Andrew Cave, Mervyn Baker, Mike Bell, and John Eayres.”

He continued “And so you both now join a select group of long-standing employees who have achieved at least 25 years’ service at Wheelers, and I believe that this takes the number back to 10, following the recent retirement of Wendy and Sarah last Christmas.”

“I would like to take this opportunity, on behalf of everyone, to congratulate you on such a significant anniversary and achievement of your employment with Wheelers.  We greatly appreciate your efforts and hard work over the last 25 years and as a token of appreciation we would like to present you with these gifts.”

The afternoon tea provided by Samuels was the perfect way to celebrate, and show our appreciation to them both. The celebration was enjoyed by all who attended.

We very much look forward to continuing working with Becky and Wendy as valued colleagues for many more years to come. Congratulations to you both on this wonderful achievement.
